Description

In the Sustainable Mobility Project 2.0, WBCSD and 15 of its member companies have developed a global framework to support integrated planning and implementation of urban sustainable mobility relying on a fact-based and collaborative approach. The framework has been tested in 6 cities around the world (Chengdu, Bangkok, Indore, Hamburg, Lisbon and Campinas) over the last 3 years and some of the cities utilized this methodology to develop their Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans following the federal requirements (e.g. European and Brazilian SUMPs).

We are launching our web-based tool which allows cities to calculate their performances across19 sustainable mobility indicators, identify their priority for the city mobility plan and build a targeted and integrated set of suitable mobility solutions chosen among 220 best-practices for their impact on the city priorities. The tool enables cities to identify financing options for each best-practice and includes recommendations to encourage behavioral change and to identify infrastructural or policy requirements necessary for the implementation.
