Policy Units were set up to bring together high-level expertise to explore state-of-the-art research and analysis; identify good practice and lessons learned; and develop independent policy recommendations on particular issues regarding sustainable urban development. Transport is included in the Policy Unit#9: Urban Services and Techonology Policy Unit, which is co-led by the Association of German Cities and the International Association of Transport and Development (UITP).
